Why The Blacklist's James Spader has little interest in revisiting his past work

SINGAPORE - American actor James Spader says that in his seven years of playing Raymond "Red" Reddington, the mysterious protagonist of the crime series The Blacklist, he has never been bored.

In a telephone interview with regional media, the 60-year-old actor says: "Reddington is never on screen unless something is decisively happening, I'm determined not to overplay him and let him become pedestrian."
