Data from the latest Programme for International Student Assessment (Pisa), an international benchmarking study, shows how access to new technologies has increased at a remarkable rate among students around the world, including Singapore.
Pisa, which is conducted by the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) every three years, measures how well students use their mathematics, science and reading skills to solve problems, and also studies other trends in education, including reading habits and Internet usage.
