LONDON - With deft, dainty footwork, Paul Pogba was sashaying his way past Eric Dier until he was brought down by the Tottenham defender. Pogba was back. Eighteen minutes into his first appearance for six months, he earned Manchester United a penalty and, in the process, a point.

There was a time when summer seemed likely to bring Pogba's departure, either before or after Euro 2020. Instead, it may mark his second coming as a United player.
