SILVERSTONE - So, here's the latest Formula One conundrum. How come the British Grand Prix was such an exciting race, with close running, wheel-to-wheel racing and overtaking, when we are continually being told that you just can't get close enough to the car in front these days to get past it?
Why were leaders Valtteri Bottas and Lewis Hamilton able to swop the lead in a bit of fantastic dicing on the third lap? Or Max Verstappen to battle so hard with Charles Leclerc and Sebastian Vettel? Or Lando Norris to take it to the Renaults on the opening lap?
