BEIJING - China on Nov 30 mourned the death of American statesman Henry Kissinger, who famously helped establish diplomatic relations between Beijing and Washington.
While his legacy in the West is largely mixed – especially for his roles in conflicts in South-east Asia and the overthrowing of democratically elected governments – Dr Kissinger is much more fondly remembered by the Chinese, with top leaders and citizens paying tribute in various ways.
