SINGAPORE - Sarawak premier Abang Johari Openg has ambitious plans to ramp up infrastructure development in Malaysia's largest state and turn it into an investment hub for green energy and emerging technologies by 2030.
Referred to by some politicians in the country as a "rich state with poor people", many areas in oil-rich Sarawak continue to lack access to basic facilities like piped water, electricity and Internet connectivity.
