NEW DELHI/TAIPEI - An agreement to bring Indian migrant workers into Taiwan is a sign of expanding economic ties between the two sides as Taiwan hedges its bets by deepening linkages with India, which is often pitched as a bulwark against China in Asia.
But in Taiwan, which has so far sourced workers mainly from South-east Asian countries, the agreement has faced some backlash.
