SINGAPORE – Taiwanese rock band Mayday will be back in Singapore on Jan 13 for a one-night Mayday Nowhere Re: Live 2024 concert at the National Stadium.

This marks the band’s third Nowhere tour here. The first was in 2012, followed by another in 2013.

Mayday’s concerts have always been known for their large-scale production sets and it will be no different this time. The band will be “sailing” into the National Stadium on a special “Noah’s Ark” as part of their celebration of their Nowhere tour, which started in Beijing, China, in 2012.

Formed in 1997, the quintet – consisting of lead vocalist Ashin, bassist Masa, drummer Guan You and guitarists Stone and Monster – are known for albums such as Viva Love (2000), Poetry Of The Day After (2009) and History Of Tomorrow (2017). The band have also won several Best Musical Group honours at the prestigious Golden Melody Awards.

The band last performed here in December for the Mayday Fly To 2022 Live In Singapore concert. They had also played at the National Stadium for one night then.

Tickets to Mayday Nowhere Re: Live 2024 tour, priced from $168 to $368, will go on sale on Oct 19 at 10am via Ticketmaster’s website. They are also available at SingPost outlets.
