SINGAPORE – There is no sugar-coating the facts: Nine in 10 people in Singapore are consuming more than the daily recommended intake of salt, and the rate of high blood pressure has nearly doubled since 2010.

These are the stark takeaways from the Ministry of Health’s National Population Health Survey 2022 and Health Promotion Board’s National Nutrition Survey 2022.
