SINGAPORE - Minister for National Development Desmond Lee, 45, is known in nature and heritage circles for his consultative approach and willingness to engage with interest groups to iron out thorny issues between development and conservation.

But should he be deployed elsewhere after the upcoming Cabinet reshuffle, which Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said is likely to take place early next month, Mr Desmond Lee said he is confident that his successor will adopt a similar approach.
