Surgeon loses defamation suit as judge upholds woman's claim that he took advantage of vulnerable patients

Singapore - Dr Julian Ong Kian Peng, a surgeon in private practice, lost his defamation suit against a woman who told others that he had colluded with another specialist to take advantage of vulnerable female patients "to satisfy their immoral desires".

His action against her was dismissed with costs on April 3 by District Judge Lynette Yap, who said the woman was justified in her claims.
