New productivity training centre opens at Nanyang Polytechnic

SINGAPORE - Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP) students will be able to gain a deeper understanding of productivity and innovation through a series of workshops, internships and projects.

A new Productivity Training Centre (PTC) at the poly, which was officially opened on Monday, will drive these efforts forward. For a start, some 1,000 final-year business students at the poly will attend a three-day productivity workshop every year.

About 120 students every year will also be involved in innovation and productivity related projects under the guidance of mentors.

The centre was opened by Senior Minister of State for Law and Education Indranee Rajah.
