SINGAPORE - The indefinite suspension of the Asean Basketball League (ABL) due to the Covid-19 disease has thrown the season into disarray and cost the Singapore Slingers a five-figure sum in revenue, but the cagers are assured of their pay cheques as the team will honour all player contracts.
Last Friday (March 13), the ABL season came to a halt after the World Health Organisation declared the coronavirus situation as a global pandemic.
