The joy of making her first-ever final in a competition at the 2017 Schools National C Division Shooting Championships was quickly replaced by nerves when Natanya Tan was penalised for reporting late.
Being the sole representative of her school, St Joseph's Institution International, which does not offer shooting as a co-curricular activity, Natanya went into the competition without a coach and was unaware she had to report earlier for the final.
